Flying in World of Warcraft How to unlock the ability to fly in different zones and why you may not be able to fly in some places.
Comment by If you're worried about the high cost of this mount, don't worry. Good luck. Comment by Money shouldn't be a problem. If you do all quests in every area and also grind some, for example farm motes, then you should be 70 by the time you complete the quests in Blades edge. By playing this way you have Netherstorm and Shadowmoon left at 70 and the rewards for quests will be money, thousands of gold.
The quests there will also be easier since you're a few levels higher than the average player. I left Blade's edge when i turned 69, but i had many quests left there.
I also left quests unsolved in most of the previous areas. Not the fastest way to get to 70, but you make more money afterwards so you can buy this riding skill earlier. Comment by I quested to lvl Comment by You will need gold gold if your buying this and the mount at the same time , Artisan Riding skill is required for the Swift Windriders, Swift Gryphons, Netherdrakes, Ashes's of A'lar i.
It will say after the name of the item Requires Riding You will also need this skill to start the dailies with the Netherwing. Comment by Can anyone confirm that as of 2. If so I'll wait for the patch. If this is true does the same discount apply to the cost of the epic mount? Comment by how can i get from to in Riding????
Comment by Does anyone know if flying mounts will be used in Northrend when Wrath of the Lich King comes out? So i had no chance on saving up money to buy a Epic flying mount or the riding skills to ride one even more i didnt even know you could fly.
Anyway, as for somone who now knows from expierience, i would suggest anyone who is going to want to make as much money the fastest way possible and gaining rep the fastest way possible would be grinding it by doing Instinces first, and gathering herbs, leather, DE items, minerals, fish, or any motes and sell em. By the time your you should be almost honored or in the middle of honored to most places leaving you to do very easy quests in thoes areas to get to exaulted AND gain maximum gold g a quest.
If i knew this befor i hit 70 doing all the quest in Hellfire as soon as possible i would have made so much more money. Hope this helps all thoes 58 lv char feeling discouraged at the 5k gold cost.
Comment by Telex Here's something you might find interesting. Comment by I was wondering if some1 can answer on my q:is it try that in 2.
Comment by Nether Drakes are also rewarded free from becoming exalted with the Netherwing. Right after you become exalted just talk to one of the Nether Drakes in Shattrah the they will become your mount.
Comment by Brahla For those who are endlessly saving up for their epic flying mount without any result, try this. As of patch 2. Start by doing the outland daily quests, these will reward you with money and Shattered Sun Supply bags. Save these uncommon items until you have about of them and let an enchanter disenchant them.
While doing the outland daily quests the SSO ones try to farm some primals. When you've done all these quests, go to Silvermoon or Ironforge, find an enchanter to Disenchant your greenies, put the dusts, essences and primals on the auction house and fly to the Isle of Quel'Danas. Do all your daily quests there, try to get a Primal Mana from the sentries and then return to a city!
You can easily earn hundreds of golds using this method. Use your spare time by doing the Skyguard and Ogri'la daily quests or farm more primals and you'll have your mount in no time.
Edit: Thanks to sean Then you can go back and do the quests in Blades Edge, and receive a good amount of gold per quest, and a good number of the quests will be extremely easy since none of the ogres in BEM will automatically attack you when you come by.
Easy money, since about half of Blades Edge is overrun with ogres of some sort. Comment by This is probably going to be the last riding you can probably obtain, sure they have said you can "maybe" fly in Northrend but are they going to let you fly for free? Nope, its another money sinkhole plot from blizzard which is a spell called "Artic Flying". It trains your flying mount to fly in Northrend so no your ground mount needs no training which is going to be learnable at about level It's probably going to cost around g and before you start whining think of all the dailies you can do at the moment, and with all the gold you'll be getting from the quests , so its not that much of a big deal.
Comment by endless Be sure to take in to consideration that a player with gathering professions will benefit more from the speed increase of your new epic flyer. Getting your second epic flyer will come much sooner. There are also no plans to reduce the cost of the flying mounts. It will cost g to learn this skill. Dranei - Stormrage US.
Comment by Thottbot a very good strategy is to save up as many outlands quests as you can till after you hit Comment by Thottbot A good way to farm g is first, do dailies for ogri'la and shatari skyguard. Then if your proffesion is skinning, go to nagrand and kill aged clefthooves.
Sell the knothide leather and the clefthoof leather that drops form them in the ah on my server a stack of clefthoof leather goes for 80 g. If your nto skinngin then go to elemental palteau and farm motes. If your looking for skygaurd rep then you can always go kill bird men at skettis and collect shadow dust from them. You can turn 6 of those in for 8 g i think and skygaurd rep. Comment by Thottbot I gota question.
Anyone know if the vendor that trains the flying mounts is linked to any faction? It would be nice to get a discount based on rep like you do with yoiur land mounts. Comment by Thottbot I am farming netherweb spider silk atm it goes for 70 gold a stack 10 on arathor i have 30 atm but drop rate is not to great has taken me about 3 hours so i am making about 70 gold per hour maybe another 10 gold from scraps.
